STR transfer from/to wallet..
« on: October 11, 2018, 05:34:42 PM »

I think the Coin age go to 0 if you make tx ...
If yes maybe it's a good idea to mine before tx

I think we must do both mining and staking if possible.  You may benefit by mining as what you said if majority of the members start stopping mining or do tx just after you do.

If you make transaction OUT the coin age go to 0 so it is better
to do your mint and perform your transaction afterward

Yes better to mint first before moving the coin so that it will add more tokens before you spend it or move to another waller address.

Also must mint every 60 days because the wallet weight set to zero for deposits done earlier than 60 days.  Correct me if I am wrong

Well basically you are doing both.  Staking in terms of token is slightly different to staking a coin, whereby your wallet has to be running.
In the case of STR pos, staking happens as your tokens stay in your ether address, when you have reached the minimum coinage you are rewarded your,  then you mine/mint to collect those rewards.

Yes, if you do an outward transaction before mining/minting your rewards, your coinage will reset to zero and you'll lose your staking reward.   The 90 maximum coinage means that, you can accumulate staking rewards up to 90 days.   if you don't mine after 90 days, you don't get any more STR.  So if you have 200 STR reward on the 90th day but don't mint, even by day 120, you'll still have 200 STR, not more.

Yeah this is one of the features staker have, its ability to mine using the minting functions. Other says its best to mint regularly as this will increase the total token for minting again.

Better to mine first before moving your tokens, once moved coin age will turn to 0 again. For me, I dont have plans to move or sell my tokens, the price is still low.
