ETH - Hold or Not?
« on: October 16, 2018, 09:08:03 AM »

Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.
What's your thoughts on it? Should I hold now?

If you are good at day trading,  swing trade it. If you are not in loss convert it to other altcoins that can give better returns.

ETH still has great value to hold. Many of the talented traitors I know expect ETH to be able to recover the highest value it has ever achieved, even more than $ 2500.
So if you are not a good trader then hold!  8)

I think it would be nice to hold on to eth as the price is very low right now.  when the day comes that vitali and co launches next generation Ethereum, the price would also fly to next generation. probably do a 10x, depending on the features it would have.

Hello,

Honestly I have some dobt that it could go back to his ATH.

It is a great crypto for sure, but rally around ICO based on ETH is not live anymore. Less of ICO in Bear market and also more promising blockchain to use.

Could rise up again but less confident for really bull rise.

I have lost quite a lot since holding the ETH. I bought it when it was $ 900. Hope prices will rise again for me to sell.

I'm still holding ETH, I believe in ETH. It is currently in second place. Although the current price is very low, I still believe ETH will recover quickly

I choose to hold my ethereum than to sell it right away. It is good to wait until to have a good profit.

At current prices I will hold. I believe the ETH value will quickly recover to $ 1000

It does not make sense to sell now, especially for those who bought at a higher price, you need to endure a drawdown and wait for the market to go to the top.

I've read an article a while ago that actually had a pretty good explanation about why ETH is so under-priced at the moment. It was said that most of ICOs are based on ETH and that around 75% of all ETH collected during ICOs was already cashed in to cover project's expenses which is why ETH price dumped hard. It will probably take a while for it to bounce back but I think it will eventually. If you're not in a hurry, just hodl on to it. ;)

Ethereum is still the leading dApp platform on the market and it has quite brilliant core team. Some few things that may drag Ethereum down on the market nowadays is its scalability issue resulting to high transaction fees and also Scam ICOs which are mostly based on Ethereum. Well still it is promising to Hodl, because it has greater chance to recover soon.

Personally, I intend to hold ethereum. I'm sure he'll recover sooner or later. ICOs may have survived their best time, but ethereum is too promising coin.

If you're in the red on ETH, I believe the best thing is to HODL it. Eth is still one of the most popular cryptocurrency and has a very good developers. On the next uptrend Eth will raise along the other crytocurrencies.
