Regarding IP address Trace

When do we use pocket wifi. where to get the IP address, on the SIM card or in the pocket wifi unit?

The one who gives an ip address is the internet service provider

The simplest way to know your IP is to open your browser and without the quotation mark, type "what is my ip".  :)

The simplest way to know your IP is to open your browser and without the quotation mark, type "what is my ip".  :)
Thanks bro, does not it depend on the sim card if pocket wifi is used.

If you have connected to a wifi / access point, DHCP server will give you an IPv4. Its local IP, not WAN IP. WAN IP is your modem/routers IP.
Devices uses wifi gateway first if you have connected to one.
Firefox and google have WebRTC method to show your local and wan IP on whatismyip.com
Edge doesnt have this implement. It will hide your LAN IP.

If you use any google product, believe me they will know everything about you rather than your family.
